Color Me A-hole.

That's what I feel like.

Tis true that it got to the point where I just thought Nick was milking this virus shit but oh no, it's a whore. I've fought it all week and tried to stick with all my usual routines but I finally gave up and let it finish raping my immune system. I've done practically nothing the last two days but somehow still feel like I've run a marathon.

It's constant fatigue, nausea, congestion and headache. I've never had anything like it and it sucks the biggest, dirtiest balls. Hope to be back writing soon though.

P.S., all the hot pink on NFL today...appreciated but more than a smidge g.a.y.

  1. I am very sorry about your malady, but that photo says so many things. I'm freaking loving it! Definitely stealing it.

Having two children, in total fear that that crap is going to hit us.

  4. Cool it Heidi and you'll be back soon. BTW... I was reading, actually I was listening to, a book by Alexander McCall Smith, Love Over Scotland, where there is a chapter titled Schaden freude. Did you possibly see that? If not, it's hilarious. He's the guy that did the No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency.

  5. Have you tried massive quantities of bourbon? You'll still be sick, but won't care as much.

It's scary, when little kids get this flu, they're over it in 2 days. When adults get it, they're often hospitalized.

  6. Jaded J- Thanx man and do with that pic what you will. Glad you liked it!

Barnesm- Preesh! And you better damn well believe I've given him hell. hehehe.

W.M.- Finally getting on the mend after tons of rest and fluids and meds. Will be back at it shortly.

    Lermontov- Rails indeed!

Mr. Charleston- I've never heard of that book but it definitely sounds like it's right up my alley. Thanks for the suggestion!

Steve- I like where your heads at on this but I believe I'll pass. My brother's the bourbon drinker but mix Grey Goose with just about anything and maybe I'll give it a whirl. Feeling much better now though. I don't get sick like this EVER. It's very humbling. Been loadin' up on my Flintstones gummi vitamins!

  8. I like a virus that has the balls to actually put up a fight, dammit. At least you can feel justified in lying around and moaning.
