I can't go back Steph. Maybe just a few more years than you. (laugh) I got to see them twice in "the years". It's funny, I've had D'yer Mak'er in my head the last few days. I love what Plant is doing these days, especially his stuff with Allison Krauss, and I can't believe what an English gentleman Page has turned out to be.
Flinthart- Thanks man! I really did. So many great people to talk to at that one and you really do have to hear it to believe it. They rock! You would've loved it I think.
Mr. C- SOOOOO jealous you got to see the actual Led Zep! D'yer Mak'er is one my all time fav's as well. I'm with you on Plant/Krauss. I just read in Rolling Stone that he turned down making another album with her and has formed a new band that's still influenced by the Appalachian sound. I forget the name of it but it was also the name of the band he and John Bonham formed before Led Zep. Can't wait to hear it.
Ahh, the Zep.
ReplyDeleteNice one, Steph. Sounds like a damned good night out, too.
